The Energy Department organised a ‘Raita Soura Shakti Mela’ (farmers’ solar energy fair) at the GKVK campus.

The mela, was inaugurated by Chief Minister Shri. Siddaramaiah and was attended by Energy Minister K.J. George and other dignitaries.

The event witnessed participation of over 50,000 farmers who travelled from across the state to attend the event.

On July 29, 2022, the Ramanagara Tourism Investors’ Conclave took place at Jungle Lodges and Resorts, led by District In-Charge and Higher Education Minister Dr. CN Ashwath Narayan.

The conclave endorsed the development of Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai’s ‘Adopt a Monument’ scheme from the budget.

Stakeholders showed strong support for the district’s tourism investment potential.

Ahead of the monsoon session of the Karnataka Legislature today, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah inaugurated the newly installed rosewood doors at the western entrance of Vidhana Soudha on the 15th of July, 2024.

Over 700 women micropreneurs from 300 self-help groups (SHGs) across the nation participated in the annual Sanjeevini SARAS exhibition held at the National College Grounds, Basavanagudi, from April 8–18, 2022.

The event was inaugurated by Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai, with Minister Dr. C N Ashwath Narayan and other distinguished guests in attendance.

Tumkur, September 06; A huge job fair and pre-interview training camp was been organized at Shira in Tumkur district. Interested unemployed young men/women were invited to take advantage of this.

The Election Commission of India (ECI) hosted the 3rd International Conference on ‘Inclusive Elections and Elections Integrity’ in a virtual format on March 9, 2023.

From March 9th to 11th, Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar, along with Election Commissioners Anup Chandra Pandey and Arun Goel, reviewed the preparedness for the Karnataka Assembly elections.
