Karnataka Chief Minister Shri. Siddaramaiah announced that the Global Investors Meet 2025 will be held from February 12-14 in Bengaluru, with the theme “Reimagining Growth”.

The announcement was made on June 19, 2024, in the presence of:
- Shri. MB Patil, Minister for Large and Medium Industries and Infrastructure Development.
- Shri. Sharanabasappa Darshanapur, Minister for Small Scale Industries and Public Enterprises.
- Shri. Dinesh Gundurao, Minister for Health.
- Dr. M. C. Sudhakara, Minister for Higher Education Department. r
- Dr. Sharanprakash Rudrappa Patil, Minister for Medical Education, Department of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood.
- Shri. Priyank Kharge, Minister for Department of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, and Department of IT & BT.
- Shri. Sivananda Patil, Minister for Department of Textiles, Directorate of Sugarcane Development and Sugar, and Department of Agriculture Marketing.

Chief Minister Shri. Siddaramaiah presented lifetime achievement awards for the years 2021 to 2024 to 75 distinguished achievers in a program organized by the Department of Kannada and Culture at Ravindra Kalakshetra.

A large-scale district-level job fair was organized on 30th August 2024, at the Channapatna Government Boys Pre-University College in Ramanagara district. The fair was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, Shri D.K. Shivakumar.

The event saw the presence of distinguished guests, including Dr. Sharanprakash R. Patil, Hon’ble Minister of Medical Education and Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood; Dr. Ramalinga Reddy, Hon’ble Minister of Transport; Smt. Kanta Naik, Chairperson of the Karnataka Skill Development Corporation; along with other notable dignitaries and key officials from the district.

Chief Minister Shri.Siddaramaiah launched 21 new diverse products from Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Limited (KSDL) in an event held at Vidhana Soudha on the 20th of January, 2024.

Minister Shri. M.B. Patil praised KSDL for enhancing its reputation and achieving profitable growth. KSDL currently manufactures 50 different products, including soaps, detergents, cosmetics, incense sticks, and dhoop.

Karnataka State Marketing Communication & Advertising Limited (KSMCA) celebrated its Golden Jubilee on January 4th at the Taj West End Hotel, Bengaluru, inaugurated by Sri Basavaraj S. Bommai, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka.

The 525th Birth Anniversary of Saint Kanakadasa was celebrated with great reverence, organized by the Kannada and Culture Department.

The day commenced with Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Siddaramaiah offering a garland to the statue of Saint Kanakadasa at the Legislators’ House, followed by a grand procession from Kanakadasa Circle to Ravindra Kalakshetra.

During the event at Ravindra Kalakshetra, Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri. Siddaramaiah released 18 volumes of ‘Samagra Tatvapada’ and conferred the Kanaka Shri Award, Kanaka Gaurava Award, and Kanaka Yuva Puraskar to distinguished individuals.

The celebration was graced by Kannada and Culture Minister Shri. Shivaraj Tangadagi, Department Secretary Smt. N. Manjula, Deputy Speaker Shri. Rudrappa Lamani, and Seer Siddaramanandaswami, among other dignitaries.

The Karnataka International Travel Expo (KITE) 2025 was inaugurated at the Taj West End, Bengaluru, with Chief Minister Sri Siddaramaiah unveiling the Karnataka Tourism Policy 2025-2029. The event also saw the presence of Tourism Minister Sri H.K. Patil, Sri Rizwan Arshad, Hon’ble MLA, among other dignitaries.

Karnataka Kreedakoota 2025 concluded with a grand closing ceremony at the Ajjarkad District Stadium in Udupi. The event was graced by the Governor of Karnataka, His Excellency Shri Thaawar Chand Gehlot, as the chief guest, along with Karnataka Home Minister Dr. G. Parameshwar as the guest of honour. Dr. K Govindaraj, President of the Karnataka Olympic Association, Political Secretary to the Chief Minister, and other dignitaries were also present.

Karnataka Kreedakoota 2025, jointly organized by the Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports, the Karnataka Olympic Association, and the Dakshina Kannada and Udupi district administrations, was inaugurated by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at Mangala Stadium, Mangaluru, on January 17.

The Karnataka Mini Olympics (Under-14 category), organized by the Department of Youth and Sports in collaboration with the Karnataka Olympic Association (KOA), commenced with an inaugural ceremony on November 14, 2024.

The third edition of this prestigious event was inaugurated by Chief Minister Shri. Siddaramaiah, MLC Dr. K. Govindaraj, President of the Karnataka Olympic Association, Energy Minister Shri. K.J. George, Member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly Shri. Rizwan Arshad, Olympian Anju Bobby George, and other distinguished dignitaries at the Sri Kanteerava Stadium.
